Animal Contributions to Rural Life

We are pleased to announce that in 2024 we will be showcasing the animals at the museum through a themed trail titled "People and their Livestock". Our focus will be on rare livestock breeds, their historical and current care, and the fascinating human-animal interaction.

From 21 July until the end of the season you can find a special exhibition in the entrance building all about working animals. Visitors can already explore some aspects of the relationship between man and livestock on a themed trail in the museum grounds.
