A new Entrance for the Glentleiten

From 19th March 2018, visitors will enter the open-air museum Glentleiten through a new entrance. Previously, the historic Thürlmühle from Weilheim served as an entrance building. In the past decades, the Glentleiten has significantly expanded and developed. The former entrance building no longer lived up to the demands made of such a functional building today.

At the start of the season, a presentation will be shown in the new exhibition rooms to shed light on the new entrance building, from the groundbreaking ceremony up to the present day. The exhibition focuses on the different aspects of the building, its use as an entrance to the open-air museum, as well as the Museum Inn & Brewery inside.
