Beer and Bavaria is a matter of the heart, and this is all the more true when it comes to beer and Upper Bavaria. The Glentleiten's special exhibition explores the cultivation and processing of the raw materials required to produce the amber nectar, from the brewing process right up to the inns and beer gardens where beer is traditionally consumed.

The exhibition presents historical objects from the collection of the open-air museum which provide examples of beer and inn culture in Upper Bavaria, but also tell a story about the everyday lives of the people in our region in times gone by.
