Upper Bavarian Lake Fishermen

The history of Upper Bavarian lake fishermen dates back to the early Middle Ages. Hardly any other profession has changed so little up until today. The handling of the traction and draft nets and the pots has remained the same for the fishermen just as the hard work on the lake. Photographer Johannes Wunner has captured impressive portraits, people who are influenced by nature and cultivate their craft. The impressive photographs are exhibited at the Glentleiten open-air museum.
