On a mid-altitude mountain pasture, this mountain pasture hut was used from the end of June until the end of July and from mid-August to mid-September. This shared cabin, a square-timber log construction, belonged to two farms: Schwabenlehen from Ramsau (Schwabenkaser) and Hanötzlehen from Schönau (Hanötzkaser). Both sent their dairymaids up to the mountain pasture hut in the summer with five to ten head of livestock each. The women worked completely separately in the building, which was split into two halves in the direction of the roof ridge.
