Of Apples and Pears

Experience traditional fruit processing as the old kiln hut is stoked up and the fruit press is put into operation. The village shop and restaurant will be offering fruit-based cuisine. We will be presenting approximately 80 different apple and pear varieties at a fruit show.

Come along and ask about fruit-growing, then have your apple and pear varieties identified by a pomologist on Sunday afternoon. Sunday is also the day on which you can learn all about the "super organisms" that are bee colonies.
